Study on the Value and Application of Traditional Culture in Ideological and Political Education for College Students
Abstract
The main responsibility of all colleges in China is to convey high-quality talents to the society. As continuous reform has been conducted in education and the theory of comprehensive development was put forward, our country pays more and more attention to the improvement in college students’ comprehensive quality level of ideology and morality. Ideological and political education, which the major courses through which the college influences students’ ideology and morality, determines college students’ ideological and moral level. This study analyzes the current situation of ideological and political education in Chinese colleges, explores the application value of Chinese traditional culture in ideological and political education in colleges, and puts forward the approaches to apply Chinese traditional culture in colleges’ ideological and political education based on this.
