An Analysis of Academic Credit System in German Higher Education and Its Enlightenment to Credit System Construction in China

Abstract


Germany, signatory to the Bologna process, has been in pursuit of an efficient academic credit system in higher education institutions based on the “European Credit Transfer System” since the 1990s. This paper analyzes the achievements and problems in the implementation of the academic credit system in Germany and the insights if offers for China in the reform academic of credit system.
